Help How To

Okay, today I spilled Pepsi on my LG Optimus 323 White phone, but I quickly wiped it off. Then a few hours later I was watching a video and, I tried to click the back arrow buttons at the bottom of my phone and I notice they were not working. What Should I Do? Please Help I Really Don't Want To Loose All My Data On This Phone.

As the phone is still working at the moment, try and get your data off it and backed-up ASAP! - either onto a PC or external storage. You shouldn't need the bottom buttons do that, only the touch-screen, assuming that's still working. Thing is Pepsi, i.e. soda can be corrosive to electronics because of the sugar and other stuff in it. To clean it properly from that, the phone would have to be disassembled.

How Would You Disassemble It? &&' I Do Need The Bottom Buttons Because, Everytime I Watch A Video Or. Go On The Internet, I Have To Go To The Home Screen Then Wait A Few Minutes Just To Get Back On The Right Page. So Do You Know How To Fix The Bottom Buttons

You shouldn't need the buttons to plug it into a PC, and activate MTP mode or whatever, nor if installing and using a wireless transfer app like Airdroid. Does the home hardware button work, or is that inoperative as well?

If it was just clean water it's not so bad, usually can just dry it without disassembling using rice or something, although removing the back helps. But soda leaves a sticky and somewhat corrosive residue on things, because of the sugar, flavourings and colourings in it and it stays conductive, and to clean that it's probably best to use alcohol. I don't know about the LG Optimus, but https://www.ifixit.com/ is probably a good place to look at for things like that. The Pepsi probably got inside on the circuit board that the bottom buttons use, and hopefully it hasn't got any further.
