Help How turn off background audio

Hello,

How do you turn off the background audio?

Closing the app doesn't work & going thru the apps to find the right one is slow and frustrating ... that is if I can even remember what app it is!

For anyone familiar with IPhone, you just have to slide the control panel up.

What is the magic trick on s5?

That depend on the app.
Some have an exit option in their menu.
Some you need to push the stop button to stop the playback, and then hit the backup key.
If you have switched away fro the application, use the notification bar to re-enter the program first.

Thanks for answering - but I'm still frustrated! I can't find an easy 'fix' or solution.

I've found it usually does work as it's supposed to, and does depend on what the app actually is. You might want say a streaming radio app to continue playing in the background, on the other hand games should stop playing audio as soon as you close them.

If you have a problem with an app, e.g. some bejeweled or whatever game goes on playing music in the background after you've closed it, that would be very undesirable, you might want to contact the particular app or game's developers about it.
