I am amazed that it was designed and assembled in the United States.
Looks OK.
Still a MAC, though and since I'm an IT pro, it's virtually useless to me as next to nothing runs on it .. unless I add windows
Assembled is the main word here, but yes they have been talking about it forever.
While I am not a Mac fan I do trade their stock a lot, so you hear the news of the company constantly. I do like the idea, but I am waiting to see how well that tower actually cools. GPUs produce a lot of heat when they are being worked and if someone is using all this for something, I can see that one fan having to work its butt off, but we will see.
I saw one of those Dyson hand dryers in the mall last week. Lots of air volume from such a smaller device. My guess is the Apple fan does the job.
Have you tried the Dyson impeller fans? They're expensive, but fantastic!
No, probably not. Just noticed the hand dryers.
So you are incapable of supporting the Mac? I think if your job is MS-centric, you should avoid Apple. That said, lots of folks use Apple and there are many qualified people to support them.I don't do support - I'm strictly software.
I've worked in IT for 30 years, on four continents, with quite a few of the biggest corporations in the world using a wide variety of software and hardware running a variety of O/Ss, but I have never worked on an Apple computer. Hardly ever seen one in a corporate IT department.
Mostly, this is because most corporate software don't have a version for Apple - because no-one has had Apple computers in corporations. Maybe that will change with more and more corporate systems moving to browsers and VMs becoming more prevalent - though those same factors would tend to steer sensible types away from over-priced, high end desktops - but there's not much sign of it so far.
