How well do the emulators work on the Hero?

All of the reviews seem to be about the Nexus.

Depends... but it's hard to control without a physical keyboard. Super Nintendo emulators do run at full speed. Haven't tried the rest

Is it possible to flip the screen and use the trackball as the D pad?

From what I remember the trackball was not an option, I could be wrong

i've only used gameboid, but for that there are options to set up your trackball as a d-pad.
