I've had my Droid for a couple years now, but am actually going to retire it to save money since I'm just retired. I'll probably invest in a Asus tablet with wifi only to read email, etc on the road and save the monthly data charge.

I think it'll also be a good time to learn to root the phone if thats what it takes to be able to use the soon to be disconnected droid as an additional wifi device if I don't get the tablet.
