Hi all, bought a Polaroid PMID701C for my wife and, after reading more about it here, I may get one for myself. I'm debating between the Polaroid PMID701C, PMID4300, and the Pandigital Planet. Thoughts?
Anyway, this is our first Android device. Up to this point we've both been Windows desktop/laptop users. I keep looking at the 4" Samsung but am too cheap, and am too cheap for the monthly cost of an Android phone. The Polaroids look to be right up my alley $$$!
I'd like to learn how to write apps and to interface with arduino or Paralax microcontrollers, and any guidance is appreciated.

I have found this to be a real nice tablet considering the price. Over at Freaktab.com we have been working it over real good. We are able to install Google play, and many other standard google system apps, we have a solution to help the battery life out, and are well on our way to having recovery options available if disaster strikes since Southern Telecom has not put the stock rom image on their website.

There is good hope for some custom ROM's that might even include Ice Cream Sandwich, but we shall see.
