How's LG Optimus with web browsing?

Does it take awhile to load in Facebook, ESPN, CNN, Ticketmaster....etc?

It depends on the strength of your 3G signal. In a strong area it works very well.

This. The 3G signal in my area is pretty good, so I'm generally happy with the speeds. However i have noticed that despite being in a good coverage area, during the day the speed slows considerably. Even with that it's usable-I bounce between Opera and Skyfire browsers as they seem to be the fastest for me.
