How's the screen?

Hey guys - I'm ready to bite - but - I've read a couple reviews of the V30 and the Pixel 2XL, where there were problems with the screen. I saw another review that attributed the screen problems to preproduction, not retail models.

Can anyone comment?

My screen is great v30+. The whites are more yellow than my HTC 10 but no more yellow than the wife's ipod phone. I adjusted it to a white as possible. I am more than happy with it.
 
The advantage the V30 has over the Pixel 2 XL is screen color customization. You can fine-tune it to look exactly how you want.

My retail model doesn't have any burn-in yet. My pre-production model has very faint burn-in, but again, that's a pre-production model.

I just received 2 V30s from T-Mobile. The screens are perfect. I did all the tests. Watched HDR content on Netflix and YouTube and it was amazing. Much better than my iPhone 7 plus.
 
I bit the bullet - so far, Love it. Coming from a Samsung Galaxy S8+ - just couldn't get used to Samsung. Now, the challenge - see if I can hold on to a phone for 12 months. lol

Another person that has no isues with their V30's screen.
Still prefer my V20's screen but the 30's screen is good.

I'm looking at my wife's V20 screen next to my V30 screen, and it's not even close. The V30 blows the V20 away both in color and vibrance. The V20 is a plain LCD. The V30 is an OLED.
 
Before getting my V30 I read the reviews and a number of complaints about the early V30 screens. My screen is totally outstanding. Not sure if the negative reviews are just fake news
 
I was skeptical too about the screen after reading reviews about the V30, well. I just bought one and it isnt ANYTHING like the bad reviews had said.

YMMV, on the box it said that my phone was made in March of this year so I believe LG took care of the screen problems right after the FIRST release of phones.

I have read many reviews of people saying how good the screen is and now I too am in that camp :) its the real deal.
