HTC/Android Phone Backup Software

In days of old there was Nokia PC Suite which had the facility to backup up everything: mail, contacts, files, photos, music, videos, SMS and - most importantly - phone settings and customisations.

Is there an equivalent for the HTC One S or for Android phones in general? The HTC software is next to useless and rather rudimentary.

Try MyPhoneExplorer, it's a much better alternative to HTC Sync.

I don't think it will backup settings and customisations though, there aren't any Android apps that will do that without root. You my want to try MyBackup though?
