They did announce a version of the M9+ with a different camera, and a new Butterfly model (which never appear in Europe so I don't pay much attention).

The A9 announcement is probably the (online) event codesplice posted above this.
 
The M9 is already available. The A9 is probably a midrange handset (will know for sure in a couple of weeks).

I've not heard much about the smartwatch. The fitness band thing they announced earlier in the year seems to be on hold though.
