HTC Call Sound Issue

So I got a new HTC 10. Looks great! Except when I'm on the phone, I cut out for about ten seconds every few minutes and whoever I'm talking to can't hear me. I wrestled with Verizon for a while and eventually had to run to the next town over to exchange for a new phone.

The issue's still happening. Maybe it's a setting I'm missing. Maybe HTC doesn't like the towers around here. Maybe these phones hate my voice. It works fine on speakerphone, for what that's worth.

Any suggestions?

Are you using a case? I have a Spigen case and it causes an echo. When I adjust it the echo goes away. Maybe some small movement in the case is causing it. Just a guess.

No sound issues using an AT&T Sim card on my 10 from HTC.
