Help htc desire 601 wont load youtube/vine

About a week ago it was working fine. The videos I mean. Then just out of the blue vine/YouTube won't work anymore. I'm using my mobile data. I have the unlimitied data plan so I'm confused as to why the apps won't load. They open just fine but don't play the videos. I've done everything I could find but nothing seems to be working. It's really slow opening the apps Aswell. I've force stopped them. And I've cleared the cache many times. Uninstalled and reinstalled both apps. Many times. These are the only two apps I have on my phone. Other than the ones that the phone comes with.

Please if anyone knows how to fix this. Email me or reply Here.(the email is so I know when you answered the thread so I can reply faster) thanks a bunch!!!

I would try a factory reset,It should fix your issue.
Here is how to do a factory reset:
Remove the battery, wait for a few seconds, then reinsert the battery.
Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button, and then press and hold the POWER button.
Wait for the screen with the three Android images to appear, and then release the POWER and VOLUME DOWN buttons.
Press VOLUME DOWN to select FACTORY RESET, and then press the POWER button.

Now it's just super slow. What is wrong with this network. It was never like this. I've had this phone since December of last year and it's never been this slow.

Try this too,Go into App Settings and clear cache and data and open YouTube.See if that works.

I mean everything is super slow even loading Google chrome. Google, even downloading an app takes 30 minutes when it's only 12 mb. Also YouTube still won't load videos.

Are you sure that your data isn't being throttled?. I'm on VM and they do give you unlimited data, just not unlimited data speeds. After you have used 2.5 GB's, they slow it down to dial up speeds. I'd check with your carrier to check this out...Have you tried loading on wi-fi, to see if they load then?

That was my thought as well. Check that first.

GOOD LUCK!

Agreed, sounds like he's a heavy user and has been throttled. Checking your speed on Wifi is great advice. Ralickan, if you notice that Wifi is much faster, you can reset your data limit by logging into your Virgin Mobile account and going to "Restart my Monthly Plan." This is a great option if you are desperate.

If you aren't near Wifi, there's a few tricks that will help extend your ability to survive on 2.5GB's. The Youtube app has an option to "Limit mobile data useage." Checking this option will tell Youtube to avoid 720p video and only play 480p/360p.

720p - 5mbps
480p - 2.5mbps
360p - 1mbps

I only use 360p for this reason. It allows me to watch 5 times as many hours of video as 720p would.
