So, when I plug in my headphone and play music, the noise will only come out with one speaker, not the other one. When I push the plug in, so it gets a little deeper, it works how it should work. What is the cause of this? And does anyone know how to fix this?

I've tested this with multiple headphones, all the same thing. When I plug in my headphone to my laptop, it works fine, so it has to be my phone.

One possibility is that the headphone jack has been damaged, perhaps by something being pushed into it. In that case you'd need a proper repair.

The only other thing I can think of is maybe some dirt or fluff has got in and is partly blocking the contact. In that case, you could try shining a light in to see whether you can see anything, or very carefully using some thin wire to see whether you can dislodge some fluff.

Unless of course you are using a case which is getting in the way of inserting the headphones properly? I know that sounds stupid, but in the absence of information I have to ask, just to be sure, because I have seen such things before.
