HTC desire camera wont paunch since Google Goggles crash

I recently installed Google goggles on my htc desire s. While using it the screen went blank. I hecked the camera function and it no longer launches either directly or through an app euvh as goggles or qr droid. I have since uninstalled goggles and restarted the phone but camera still wont launch.
Ideally. would like to avoid a factory restart if possible. Help greatly appreciated.

Problem since solved. Cleared the data on the camera under the manage applications setting and rebooted the phone. I am pretty sre Google goggles caused this so this may be of help to someone else.
