HTC EVO 3D 4G Reset

[Android Question]

I need to reset my phone but the LEDs behind the screen are not working and I cannot see the screen. I don't need to fix the phone because I am getting a new one but I want to remove the phone from my account, which I cannot do without resetting it. Is there a way to reset the phone without the screen working?

You do not need to reset the phone in order to remove it from your account. All you need to do is call your provider and they will be able to remove the phone from the account. However, all the information you need about the phone is located under the battery (ESN) if you do need to provide information to your carrier.
