i found a htc evo and i cant use wifi is it cause it was reported stolen what can i do to at least use wifi
 
Well first you should try to return the phone to its owner. You could also return it to the store of the carrier, or give it to the police.

Do you have WiFi turned on?

If the WiFi network is secured you must know the password.
