I do apologise if this is a repeat question. I have searched the forum and can't find an answer.
My problem is this. I have put a flash app online using as2. I browse to it on my HTC Hero's browser and it displays fine.. when I try to put a flash app using as3 up online and browse to it, it wont display the flash content. Just gives me a grey circle with a line through it.
Im currently developing an app that uses the google maps api so I really do need as3 as the app needs to import the google maps libraries.
I would be really grateful if somebody could tell me how to get round this.. or maybe offer clues as to why it doesnt work.
To simplify things, I created a simple html page with a swf embedded in it that just displays some text. I did this in as2. Works fine.
I then created another html page with a swf embedded in it that displays the same text, only this time, setting up flash to create an as3 file. Now it doesnt work.
So there seems to be only one difference here. The fact that one is using as2 and one is using as3.
Thought that might help clarify that its not a code problem.
