HTC hero VS. Samsung Moment

I am planning on buying either the HTC hero or the Samsung Moment...i like both phones & understand the subtle differences...I am leaning toward the Moment due to the keyboard, but have been told by a loyal Hero user that getting used to the touch key board is easy & also that ALL SAMSUNG phones suck......I was told to come here for nice, honest opnions....so please HELP!
