HTC Hero

I have a HTC hero from two years. I already rooted and downloaded the Rom Manager from 4 shared and installed also. While I try to do Flash clockworkmod recovery, it gives me an option as Htc Hero CDMA and after that it says An Error Occurred while Flashing your Recovery and wont go any further.
Does anyone have any solution or idea about it?
