Help HTC Keyboard als Dialer?

Sorry if I just posted a nothing thread. I just was wondering as ive read about some who feel that the dialer for the X10 is feature lacking, if the HTC keyboard that many are using also replaces the stock dialer? Or, is this something that you would have to download separately? If its the latter then what are others using?

no the HTC keyboard cant replace the dialler, however thankfully android is open and customisable, you can download one of many diallers from the android market.

i havent done this yet, but will soon as i think the smart dialling feature missing from the SEMC dialler is reallllllllly annoying
