Help HTC keyboard

i installed the htc keyboard, i installed it right and everything but it wont seem to work. I get to the part when i can choose to set it as my default but when i try typing it doesn't come up did i do something wrong?? 0.0

i tried this for my galaxy it may work on yours..

Here is a great modified version of HTC_IME which works perfectly on the Galaxy. Also has loads of customization options!
