Lurker
I just wanted to get rid of root on my HTC M8 and I accidently erased everything from TWRP, I have no backup. Every time I try to boot up my phone, it says on HTC logo screen, I can boot into recovery and bootloader, the phone is not detected when I try to connect to my computer, but I do have a micro sd where I can use that to connect to usb, please help. I'm really clueless to this, I just wanted to unroot phone and install latest update that is all and now this big trouble come up.

There is this info when i boot into bootloader

Well if you wanted to unroot for an update then TWRP wasn't the way to do it, since you need to get rid of TWRP itself before that will work. So what you needed to do was revert completely to stock, which means running a RUU (ROM Upgrade Utility). You can still do this with your phone in fastboot mode and connected to a Windows PC, we just need to find the right RUU.

So, do you know your cidnum? If not, I assume you have fastboot installed on a computer, as you needed that to unlock the bootloader, in which case the command "fastboot getvar all" will tell you. With that plus the information you've already given we should be able to find the right package.

If for any reason you can't do that then if you can tell us what country it was originally sold in and whether it was bought through a carrier, and if so which, we should be able to work it out from that.

I'm going to be offline for a while now though, so won't be able to give an immediate answer.
