Root HTC Magic (32B) Flashed with 32A *Help please*

Hi,

I am new to this forum looking to see if anyone can help.
I've searched the forums but can't find specifically what i'm looking for.

I rooted a HTC Magic and added the 1.5 Hero Rom (f4tal1ty's hero rom).

this morning i looked for a later ROM as 1.5 wouldn't allow me to run some applications and i found one from the unlockr.

the issue with this was that it required a radio flash. My 32B Magic is now flashed to 32Aand i cannot even get into recovery mode OR re-flash the radio.img (it hangs and displays a white screen) i had originally through fastboot.

Upon boot the Magic just comes up with the Mytouch 3G spash screen and nothing else.

Details:

Rooted using gold card method, fine.

Hero rom installed: fine.

Updating the ROM however, the radio was flashed to 32A and now i cannot get back into recovery mode.

I can provide the fastboot information if needed.

what I have tried:

Use goldcard to flash sapphimg through HBOOT.

erase everything through fastboot and flash radio (may have used wrong radio).

Has anyone experienced a 32B htc magic getting flashed with 32A and managed to recover it?.

Instructions containing the files i will need would be amazing. this is not my first root or mistake but i've exhausted all my resources.

Please help.

I can't help much but did you say you can get to fastboot? That's where you would reflash the radio, hboot, and recovery.
 
Indeed, i can get into fastboot. I've just tried flashing the radio again from the 32B rom in hope it'll get me back to where i started but nope.

I got further than last time though as it tries to load the radio but then says:
FAILED<remote signature verify fail>

Also does that when flash hboot in Fastboot.
 
I've seen issues like that mentioned over at xd forums. I have a 32A so know little about that problem but it has certainly come up before. Head over to xd and find out how to fix or if you're screwed. The traffic is much too light around here for things like this.
 
Aye, i've posted it on XDA but nothing constructive. I've tried to flash stock RRU on it but just get the check failed.
 
You need to navigate that jungle over there and find the right area and then search because I'm sure that others have done the same thing. It takes a while to find your way though since there are so many varieties of phones and issues.
 
Yeah, it can get pretty messy. the main thing is I think as long as i can get into fast boot i should be ok and it's not completely b0rked but there are too many different ways and combinations to get things done i'm hoping someone will see the posts and be able to point me in the right direction.

I was able to get the phone to recognize as USB device on win7 last night but not use sync. Tried every stock RRU i could find for recovery, fail.
