Help HTC magic with Motorola T505

Hi. I was wondering if anyone knew if the car charger that comes with the motorola T505 (bluetooth/fm transmitter) is able to charge the Magic? Both are mini-usb but I no idea if the output voltages are compatible? If something says it usb does it have to follow some electrical standard?

The plan is, when I am done charging the t505 I can just plug in the phone with no worries.

Works fine. I have used the Motorola charger as well as one for my blackberry bold to charge my htc magic with no issues
