Hi,
Newby so be kind...
I bought an HTC Media link about 18 months ago. I used it a little then it gathered dust in my draw. Last week I came across a website to stream movies and tv series onto my HTC one x.
Initially I had a nightmare linking my media link to my home router. I tried hard wiring to my router to see if I could change some settings hoping to add the ip address of the media link and to check the router was ok allowing multi ip addresses.
I then somehow managed, via resetting my router and the link, to simultaneously update the firmware on the link. From then on it was plane sailing.
Until yesterday when it was up to its old tricks again. I've noticed that for my phone to connect directly to the link I need to turn off my router which I sort of get.
Does anyone know what the Mac address is of the media link which my router requires?
Or from what I've described am I being a numpty?
