Did a search for this problem but couldnt find a fix. I have been with Virgin for a while (unfortunately) using the super hub 1 along with my HTC one x with no problems. They recently upgraded me to the super hub 2 and since then my wifi Signal is always full but a lot of the time wont get me go online etc. So it shows full signal but its like my not connected to the internet. I have to turn the wifi on my phone off and on again for it to work, this last 10 mins and i have to do it again. The super hub 2 is dual band so i have tried connecting to both and it still does the same.

My wife has galaxy S2 and she doesnt have any problem at all. If someone could help fix this problem I would be very happy as its drivign me mad :(

If you haven't already done so set your hub on the clearest wifi channel in your area.
Also try setting up a specified ip address for your phone in the hub.
Finally set up a mac filter, it is great for security but it will also help your phone.
Good luck it should work.

Hi

I am having exactly the same problem described here. I have selected the clearest channel (although there is only one other router in my area) and I have set up IP addresses on my phone and hub. I haven't done MAC filtering, what do I need to do here? I thought this was just an option for blocking devices?

Thanks

Yes it is for blocking out unauthorised access but, it does have the desired effect of making the connection to your phone easier.

1st go into your phone settings/about phone & you will find your phones mac address in there.

2nd go in your router settings & put your mac address in there, make sure to ad the mac address of all other devices you use are put in there too.

3rd make sure you tick to make sure they are the only devices allowed to connect.

that
