I use HTC One M8 and Sony XAV601-BT via Mirrorlink.
Mirrorlink works perfectly fine, but charging is too weak. Driving all day using Sat navigation and listening music drains the HTC battery.
Am i the only one with this problem? Have anyone found a workaround?
USB Y-cable connecting the second USB connector to the cigarette lighter does not improve charging.
The phone draws 480mA regardless if the cigarette lighter cable is added.
The phone gets very warm in Mirrorlink mode, and strangely it keeps the HTC display on all the time. That is waste of energy, as the phone display is not needed in Mirrorlink mode. I haven't found a way to turn off the HTC display.
