HTC One M9 Plus vs Galaxy Note 4?

I've been a Galaxy Note user for several years and absolutely love the device. HTC's One has been going head to head with Galaxy's S series for years and the One Plus (not to be confused with OnePlus) seems to be their logical answer to that device but it doesn't look like they'll sell it in the US.

Anyone considering the HTC One M9 Plus over the Galaxy Note 4 (or eventual Galaxy Note 5)? Either way, curious what main factors people are valuing when considering these two devices.

i have the note 2 (don't laugh) and am looking to upgrade.
optical image stabilization is a must, after seeing the difference it makes.
i want front facing stereo speakers, it's almost a deal breaker but not totally.
must have an sd card slot, that's a deal breaker.
removable battery is a huge advantage but not a deal breaker.
i'm happier with a 1080 screen, i can't see any meaningful difference compared to a qhd display, not to mention you'll get better battery and performance with the lower resolution screens.

if the note 5 has front facing speakers, i'm sold... but if the m9 plus adds ois.... that might be a tough call.
