HTC One M9 "Unlocked"

HTC One M9 model "unlocked" version (http://www.htc.com/us/go/buy-now-htc-one-m9/) so i can use it in foreign countries; is it true? After i take this phone i am going to Turkey and i'm planing to stay there for 6 months. And of course there i will use Turkish operator. So will it be problem? (Since it's "unlocked" it means that i can use it other countries' sim cards?) And online "unlocked" selling is a preorder for 4/10 or when?

Most phones ordered online have been arriving this week. In fact, mine should be arriving today. As for usage in other countries, you will be able to use it on Turkey pending frequency compatibility. The phone will not be sim locked so it will accept the Turkish sim card. We don't have a complete list of gsm, hspa/umts and lte frequencies that the US model supports, though I imagine you'll get at least 2g and 3g.

Thanks a lot :) So you say it's okay for my usage in Turkey, i'm very pleased for these :) Well what is the date 4/10? I worry about the date because i'm going to Turkey 4/13.

4/10 is the official global release date, but HTC.com has been allowing users to order before that date and buyers have been receiving them as of Monday or Tuesday. If you ordered today and got 2 day shipping for 7 extra dollars, you would most definitely have it before the 13th. It only took a little over 24 hours for them to ship mine out after purchasing.
