HTC ONE M9

I have an HTC ONE M9 using Android 6.0, Sense 7. It was a T-Mobile Phone that got locked out of their network for nonpayment. I use H20 SIM (On AT&T network) and I cannot send MMS. I've reset the network settings, APN, and the phone. I've used different messaging apps-all with negative success. Any advice you can give would be appreciated. Now apps like KIK and Facebook work between those programs but not for sending MMS to phone contacts. SMS is unaffected.

SMS is completely unrelated to MMS. APNs are the usual problem. Many carriers use a different APN for MMS from the one they use for mobile data - I don't know whether your carrier is one of them but if it is it's possible that that is the problem (in which case normal Internet services, including Internet messaging apps, will work but MMS will not).

Alternatively have you spoken to your carrier and confirmed that your account has MMS enabled?

I resolve the issue. You were correct, Hadron. I mostly deal with Windows PCs. I have a passing familiarity with UNIX core systems like Android. There was an APN error. This phone was unlocked by a third party from TMoblie for use on the AT&T network. I reset my network setting and the phone due to some issues. The Tech at H20 wireless sent me three autosaving text messages to update the mangled configuration. The phone performs beautifully now. There is one error message that pops up about not being able to make a wireless call until I upgrade my "T Mobile SIM" I assume this is because my firmware is T Moblie and this is a foreign SIM. Just something I'll probably have to live with. Thanks for your help
