Htc one phone dead help save photos

[Android Question]

Help my new htc one has died !! I need to recover photos from holiday before I send for repair
All reset option have not worked !
Charged it from flat to about 55% then used it for 10 mins put it down picked it back up 20 mins later !
The phone had updated shortly before could this be the problem ?
Will not charge no green light or red light visible when plugged in !

I'm sorry, but if it won't even charge I can't think of anything you can do. You need to be able to boot it to access the data, and a phone that doesn't even respond to the charger usually won't respond to anything else.

I guess you've tried the forced shutdown - press and hold the power button for 15 seconds or so? It's the only thing I can think of. Do it in a bright environment, because if it's too dark it will think it's in a pocket and not work. Your only hope is if you can get the phone to respond to you.
