HTC One s - connection problem

When I connect a pen drive using a OTG cable to my HTC One S, it automatically gets removed within few seconds. I tried connecting FAT, FAT 32 and NTFS, nothing works. I tried fast boot-reboot on advise of HTC team, but could not succeed. can any one help here?
