Htc one ---> Samsung Galaxy S4

Hi,

I'm new here and I have a question regarding my new Samsung Galaxy S4. I had an iPhone 4S. Switched to HTC one (x, i believe) last year. I set up HTC sync manager, transferred all my data from iTunes to sync manager. The screen got broken, and so due to insurance claim, I was sent a Samsung Galaxy S4, which I am happy with. But, I am having trouble getting the HTC sync manager to transfer my media (mostly just photos) back to my computer (like windows media player), so that I can sync that to the Galaxy. Anyone have any ideas on how to do this. I've searched the htc site and the samsung site, and it just isn't jumping out at me?

Thanks in advance:)

Welcome to the forum :)

Well "sync" should be just that: a 2-way sync. But to be honest I never bother with such things, just use a USB connection to copy the files to/from my devices.

I don't use Windows, but since the One X will be using MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) for its USB connection, and MTP is a Windows thing, I'd think it would be easy enough. There's a very simple set of instructions here from HTC: HTC One X+ Support - Copying files to or from HTC One X/One X‍+ | HTC United Kingdom
