Help HTC one v stuck on low brightness

hello, i was playing angrybirds game on htc one v, suddenly the screen went white then i press power button to restart, the phone start normaly but in low brightness i tried to increase it change the brightness from auto to manual, but nothing change still low brightness, outside in sun i can't see anything,
i reset the phone to the factory settting, but still same. i thought is the battery issue but the phone is new and working for just two months.

any idea please?

As a last resort you can boot into recovery, you don't need to be rooted, select factory reset and reboot. This will lose everything on your phone and put it back to exactly as it was out of the box.

i already did that factory reset from recovery boot. i also tried to drain the battery then charge it again, but still same. LOW BRIGHTNESS.

is that hardware issue?

You may have to return the phone it may be bad

i know i have to return the phone back, but what is cause that, is the hardware issue or software ......... etc,
there must be engineers know about HTC and Android programming, in this
fourm.
