..HTC One X Battery Drainage Problem...

Hi everyone. I have a problem with the battery life. when I updete my One x to android 4.2.2 after this battery getting down very quickly. how can resolve this problem ? thank you for helping.

Have you tried a factory reset, i know its a pain to do but it usually sorts out most problems especially after an update.

I tried but nothing changed.still I can use my cell phone because of battery 6-8 hours.

Have you tried looking at wheather an app is draing the battery?
go to settings & click the power section, with luck it will show what is using most of the battery.
Failing that there is an app on the play store that can monitor wake locks this can help you pin down an app that is waking & using power when it shouldn't be.

thank you I had tried everyting you told me and what I found in internet nothing changed and I sent it to service. I am waiting for answers. when i have it i will write you thanks for helping

I've had an issue with the battery becoming HOT and the battery draining down rapidly as well.

I've done the tips mentioned above and the ONLY thing that shows as draining the battery is the Android O/S.

So what in the Android O/S is eating the battery life ? Yes, all the usual things like Bluetooth/Wi-Fi were OFF at the time.

So what else could it be ?
