Help HTC One X Speaker broken!?

Hugoos

Lurker
Suddely my audio stopped so no ringtones etc anymore. After some self diagnostics it turned that my speaker is broken!

If you push *#*#3424#*#* on the dial screen, you will enable the function test program. And then select "Audio Test", tap Run. Please finish the test as instructions.

Am i the only one? ( hope so) or doe anybody had the same experience?
So I can swap my phone in the shop as it is less then a week old....hopefully i had a monday morning product...orare these kind of issues common for a HTC (One X) ?

HTC builds are usually pretty solid so I'm thinking you just got 'lucky' and received a phone with an anomaly. I would call customer service and explain what happened. Most wireless companies will work with you on a brand new phone.

My audio just stopped working too after about 5 weeks. Did you manage to fix your phone or was it replaced?

Hi there - it would seem that this has happened to me as well.... Did you just get a new one? Did you get any comments from the telco/HTC as to what might happened?

I had a broken rear speaker, sent it off for repair via HTC (got them to address the wifi at the same time) and all is well now.
