I have the hox on at&t and im thinking about returning it for the gs3 when it comes out. I have some thoughts on it and wanted some feed back.
The lcd screen on the hox is amazing and the super amoled hd screen on the gs3 is also amazing, but i think that the lcd screen is a bit better so I think i would be loosing a little there.
The camera is really good on the hox and on the gs3, again i have seen and watch some comparison video and seen some side buy pics of the two and i feel that the hox is a bit better.
Sense 4 is something that i was not sure about, but i found out that i really like it, especially the lock screen options. Touch wiz looks good but haven't used it in a long time so not sure about it. From what ive seen of it it looks good.
I like a lot of the cool things that the gs3 can do like when you are texting someone and you put the phone to your ear it will call that person. Also the cool thing where it knows that you are looking at the phone and it wont dim then go to sleep on you. Many times i have to touch the screen to wake it back up so i think thats a cool feature. The sg3 has got some really cool things built in to it that i have not seen before.
16gb on the hox vs the 16gb plus an sd card slot on the sg3. I dont really put a bunch of music are movies on my phones so 16gb is good for me so its a tie for me.
non removable batter on the hox vs a removable battery on the gs3. Ive had the best battery on the hox that ive ever had so im hoping that the bigger battery in the sg3 will be the same or better. I dont really care about if i can remove it or not i just want good battery life.
I have no major issues with my hox so its been a good phone but the only thing that i dont like is that the hox has really bad multitasking. Can get frustrating at times. And i know that the sg3 works fine.
The sg3 has 2g of ram cant beat that
Both have the s4 1.5ghz processor
So for me i feel that i would loose some things buy getting the gs3 but i would also gain some things. I just dont know if loosing a screen that i think is better and some cool lock screen options along with great battery life is worth the cool text to call and some of the other cool stuff that i am really impressed with and maybe the same battery life is worth it.
So any thoughts on what you guys think. To me they both offer me things i want just in different way.
