Help HTC one x wont show photo previews on comp, and wont play videos

i connect to the computer to add photos to facebook or email etc. but i cant see the preview unless i click and open it. its on large icon and not thumbnail. also when i click to play one of the videos it opens in windows media player but its a blank screen.

You probably need to download codecs or another video player to play the videos your phone records. Take a look at vlc: VideoLAN - Official page for VLC media player, the Open Source video framework!

That should play them no problem.

thanks, a friend had tried that for me and it didnt work, but i just did it and its working, but now i'm just having trouble with viewing the photos on the computer. its only showing icons unless i click to open it. any suggestions??
