HTC one X

Hi, I joined this forum as I am so hacked off with my new one X!

It worked fine until the recent software update.
Since then it won't play any sound; ie u-tube, music or voice recorder! Just crashes each time. Been in touch with HTC who advise to do a factory reset. Done it, as I suspected just the same. I haven't the patience to be some sort of guinea pig sorting out this problem by trial and error. Sorry I bought thid phone maybe I need a Samsung S111 or iphone.
