As far as I'm aware, it's quad core running at 1.7Ghz if rumours are to be believed.
I'm sure I've seen it in print that it'll be running Jelly Bean too. It's all speculation at this point though.

So i may as well just stick my my original plan and go for the One X, am i right in saying that i will be able to upgrade software to jellybean when released? Not that i'm too sure what the diffs are.....!
You won't be able to upgrade on release unless you're rooted, but there's very little wrong with the version of ICS that's currently on there.

Rooted?, sounds painful and complicated! Is that like jailbreaking an iPhone?
Neither painful, or overly complicated!
But yeah, similar to jailbreaking an iPhone. Probably not something to think about too soon after getting the device, especially if you're not overly familiar with Android.
Def worth looking into at some point though.

Yeah think i'll just get to grips with android first, i've decided to go for the One X so as soon as i get it i'll be bombarding you all with 'how too' questions.....so stand by! oh while i think on is it easy to but films on it?
I've never bought, but renting via the Play is easy enough.
I think you can buy films using the HTC Watch app too, they're also relatively cheap iirc.

I had the One x a couple of months ago and liked it. I then got the S3 and never really got on with it at all.
I'm wanting another One X, but I'm interested in these rumours. The Sensation got pimped last year with a Beats upgrade. Hope this will too.
To the noobie: Before rooting, make sure you check what apps you'll have to sacrifice. The Barclays banking app won't work on a rooted device, and I think Sky Go is funny about it too.
