HTC One XL - Music - Using Earpiece

Hi with the HTC One XL it appears that you can't swap tracks on the phone via an earpiece you either get stop or start music instead of being able to move tracks.
Does anyone know of an earpiece that will do this instead of the standard earpiece that comes with the phone.

We want to be able to be riding and answer a call or swap tracks as we go along.
The old HTC Desire allowed it but it seems the feature has been dropped from the new phone !!!

If not is there an app out there that we can bypass the phone's music functionality to be able to do this.

Can anyone suggest any great earpieces for riding that can do call answering and listening to music etc

Download an app from Play called Jays Headset Control and you can configure what the button on your headset does.

Alternatively, look at other Music players. I know with N7 you can configure double, triple and long presses of the headset button to do different things, I'm sure there are others out there that have similar functions too.
