It should be able to, But it is hard to say for sure without knowing which vehicle/Head Unit you are trying to connect to. Different vehicles/Head Units are going to have different Bluetooth Profiles, and may transmit/receive differently. It is also important to decide what your needs are as it will change the profile required. Hands Free Calling? Music Transmission? Text Message reading? Phone book Access?
If you encounter trouble with the using just the phone's built in Bluetooth and your vehicle/Head Unit has an AUX port, HTC offers an accessory that may be able to help too. It is good for transmitting music or call audio to your car radio. It is called the HTC StereoClip. There are also many many 3rd party Bluetooth options out there.
