HTC Peep - Reading tweets question

Does HTC Peep remember the last tweet you read and open to that point when you load the app? Then you can scroll up to read tweets. It would be very irritating if it simply opened up to the most recent tweet and you had to scroll down to find where you left off.

I am on a BlackBerry right now using UberTwitter, which does this.

If HTC Peep does not do this, can someone recommend an app that does?

It's been w hile since I used peep, so In don't remember. But I do know that both Twidroid and Touiteur do this.
