HTC Phone for christmas

Hi.
I'm thinking of buying a new HTC phone for christmas, since my current phone is broken.

I not quite sure what phone to buy, but I was thinking either One S or One X, but I have some questions:

Are those phones a good buy?
Are HTC gonna release any new phones anytime soon?
If not One S/X, which HTC would you reccomend?

I've the One X and I personally think it's great. It does have its issues, but every phone does. There's the One X+ as well, it's an overclocked One X with 64GB of memory instead of 32.

Does it have to be HTC? What else is available where you are?
 
I know what you mean, I'm a fan of HTC too :).

If you go for the One X, I don't think you'll be disappointed. However, your best bet would be to go in to a store and have a play with a few phones, see what feels right.
