HTC phone hits FCC, has Verizon band support

Really wonderbread. Either you have a RSS feed setup or you are stalking the FCC. ;)
Good to know, thanks for the good eyes.

Well then. I've got nothing, other than it the number didn't fall in line with the TMobile N1 or the suspected AT&T/Canadian N1.

Plz let it be N1
I would be doubtful of that. N1 has a 1400mAh battery and this new one has a 1300mAh according to the paperwork.
Is it the FCC approval for the HTC Incredible?
Could be. The FCC label for this one has a narrower but longer label than the N1. These labels typically go under the battery compartment on the back of the phone so if you think the battery profile for a pictured phone looks narrower and longer than the N1, that might be a clue.

if the incredible has a smaller battery than the n1, AND has to run sense on top of it, that can't be good news for battery life, and i might go with the n1.

The confidentiality request for external photos and other blah blah crap is requested until August 6th 2010. That's a ways off.

That doesn't correspond in any way with a release date. They usually request confidentiality a good several months out to cover any release.

That's what I was kind of thinking when I stepped away from the computer. They probably request the longest period of time possible. I have a feeling though that this is not the Nexus One; could be wrong though because you would think the Nexus One would have already hit the FCC if it was going be released by the end of March.

I think 6 months is the maximum you can request for confidentiality. Not sure where I heard that. With respect to timeframe for approval-to-release, while Verizon has a 4-5 week lead time, let's not forget the N1 is Google's phone. The T-Mobile Nexus One was approved about 3 weeks prior to release.

They do. The Nexus One photos are still confidential (at the FCC) I believe even though the phone has been out for a month.
