Hey guys... I was just snooping around for any of the latest news on the HTC Desire, and one of the top news articles that comes up with Google is this...

Only question, which phone is this? It doesn't look like the leaked pics of what is supposedly going to be the Desire / Eris.... The one in this pic looks thinner and longer.... Any thoughts?

Might have answered my own question. Found some other sites saying that it's supposedly going to be the Eris. HTC Desire is a totally different phone, so that site I linked is wrong in calling it the Desire most likely. On another site people were saying the Desire / Eris might be the same thing, so I assumed it, but apparently not.

Well I am pretty sure the Eris is the Desire, also known as the Hero (VZW's version of it). Here is a link to Engadget, they have proven to be very reliable so I usually go with what they say. Verizon's Droid is a series, not just a phone; Droid Eris coming from HTC
