Help HTC/Rogers Played A Cruel Joke On Me.

Anyway got my HTC Magic from rogers couple of days back.

So today, the computer wasn't available, and my phone was running low on juice, so I went over to the wall charger. Guess what. The wall charger that Rogers/HTC included with the Magic is MiniUSB, not ExtUSB (it won't fit).

That's interesting...I'm not 100% on all the different types, but one of them(the ExtUSB) I think has a little corner indent on just one side, whereas the other has a similar indent on both, right? With the Rogers Magic I got from them about a month ago, *both* definitely work to recharge, however there is definitely an orientation that needs to line up(first time, I thought it didn't fit either). I'd be surprised if a later gen of the Magic changed this, but I suppose stranger things have happened.

MiniUSB male will fit int ExtUSB female.

However

ExtUSB male will NOT fit into MiniUSB female.

@UnderWhat: Yeah, I checked last night (I have a Rogers Magic). The Charger cable they gave me has the two "corners", while the data cable they gave me has only one "corner".

They both work fine, however. In fact, I have even used the car charger and phone charger from my Motorola Razr to charge my HTC Magic with no problems.
