HTC Sensation XL broken power button

My power button on my HTC sensation XL is broken, unless i use a pin or something similar and push the button at a particular angle i basically can't unlock my phone.
It's now damaging the button and it doesn't always work... it took 1hour to get it unlocked today!! I tried downloading the ''lock screen app'' and the ''no lock widget'' to enable me to use my volume button instead as suggested for the HTC Sensation but it hasn't seemed to work and i don't know what else i can do.
Any help or advice would be brilliant!
