HTC Sense 8 Clock Widget for Samsung

Hi fellow Droids!!

I am looking for a comprehensive way to run the weather/clock widget from the HTC Sense 8 on my Samsung phone (see image attached, sorry for the large size). I Googled for widgets and UCCW skins but I just cannot find a way to achieve this. Does anyone have ideas on how to do this? Thanks a lot in advance! :)

You can't. HTC widgets only run in their launcher.

There are a few by other devs that try to get the look.

In the past the best have probably been by Droid27 - search for him in the Play Store. You'll find a lot of clock-weather widgets by him and you'll need to look below the surface. Nearly everything about the visuals are configurable.

Welcome to the forums!

You have to try one of Droid27's and configure it.

Anything that you see here can be changed but he goes from HTC as the starting point. This is just one example. If it's not close enough to the HTC widget (that I'm very familiar with, I have an HTC One M8) then you can adjust it.

Check out "Transparent clock & weather"

His other clocks are all adjustable and have addon themes,

The one I showed can be made to look like the HTC one (not just how I laid it out) fairly quickly.

Thanks again! Indeed a very nice widget! I managed to make it resemble the HTC clock interface quite well. Just one more question (sorry I'm quite new to this way of customization) but is there also a way to get rid of the location, date and temperature in order to end up with only the date and the 'weather symbol', so it takes up only one horizontal line of my home screen?

If you choose the first of the three 4x1 widgets, you can get it down to time, temperature and icon.

Worth exploring his other clock weather widget apps - they're deceptively configurable.
