HTC Sense clock/weather question

I noticed that the clock on the HTC Sense clock/weather widget is not updating while it's in background. I.e. when I switch to the screen with the widget it still shows old time for a second or so and then it switches to current time.
Do you guys have the same problem? Did anybody found a solution for this?

Not a problem, by design. Imagine having lots of dynamic widgets always updating when you aren't on the screen. The battery wouldn't last very long. That's why.

I understand, however at the same time this widget is very visible. I wish HTC would do the dynamic update optional.
